Airless Paint Spraying is a specialist service that we are proud to offer at Pro City Contracts. It is a technique that makes use of a spray gun, and varying sized tips to produce different types of coatings. This painting system allows our highly experienced operatives to cover large surfaces fast, faster than a brush or roller leaving no roller or bristle marks. It also gives advantages when working with irregular surface areas and uses less paint than conventional painting methods.
Hygiene Coatings
Specialist 'hygienic' paints are now available that prevent the forming of bacteria upon a surface due to their much thicker film than conventional paints and durability in a wide variety of conditions from steam to excess cold to heat. At Pro City Contracts we can load these coatings in to our Airless Spraying equipment and ensure you have a seam free and easy to clean surface that ensures and surface remains free from germs and bacteria in any environment.
Roof Coatings
Using this technique we can provide sprayed roof coatings which in many respects are these days preferable to traditional roof sealing techniques. Specialist paints can be sprayed in a much shorter time than traditional sealants and act as their own adhesive, and sprayed roof coatings have no seams to leak. We also find that covering objects that may be difficult to cover with a 'rolled membrane' are easily coated using our Airless Paint Spraying technique, the hazard of using flame torches is eliminated and the sunlight resistance and elasticity inherent in the coating mean it can live up to 20 years without the need for re-coating.
Intumescent Paints
Coating a wall or surface with Intumescent Paint provides the surface with substantial fire protection in the case of a fire. This is due to the presence of fire or severe heat making the paint swell and foam up creating a layer of heat insulation between the heat source and the painted surface. Espescially useful for covering structural steelwork to help maintain the strength of the steel giving people time to evacuate before the roof collapses, the process of creating an even coat of Intumescent Paint is made easier by the use of Airless Paint Spraying techniques.
Textured Coatings
The specialist equipment that we employ at Pro City Contracts also means we can adjust our Airless Spray Pumps to offer textured paint effects by introducing larger particles such as sand to our paint mixture which can then be sprayed on to any surface.
